i was just looking at some of zach's entries from very early 2008 (for a reason i can't remember). this year has been so long in a lot of ways. january of this year is forever ago. like the maxi pad new years party. playing call of duty all night with pedro. karalee's winter class. those things feel so so so long ago. i guess that's not really surprising. so much has changed. everything is different now. i mean, i have a mac after all...

i guess i was just thinking about how i sometimes do a yearly recap and just how impossible that would be this year. i would probably be writing for literally days. there's too much. maybe ill just post my diary, hah. or maybe not.

i actually havent been writing in it this month. which is probably a bad thing. or maybe i just dont know what to write anymore. that's probably it.

wow, i didn't really mean for this to become one of these entries. oh well.

tomorrow is two years since gene died. i dont know if it feels like it was yesterday or ten years ago. and i hate saying that because that's such a stereotypical thing to say about time. but it's so true. on one hand it's so easy to remember conversations we had or things we did, but on the other it feels like its been a lifetime since i heard his voice. i wish i'd ridden on his bike. although teresa still has it, so i guess i can just buy it from her if i can muster up 30k. probably not happening.

it'd probably be helpful to talk to him now. or to hear him talk back, anyways. i still talk to him. it'd be good to hear what he thinks though.

the guy's fucking GARBAGE MEN came to his funeral. i thought that the other day and almost started crying. how ridiculous is that? his garbage men.

people still tell me that i remind them of him. and it's still the best compliment i've ever gotten.

i'm looking at the playlist i made with songs that he liked or remind me of him and it's kind of funny. the artists are ridiculously random and diverse: system of a down, korn, billy joel, frank sinatra, lil wayne, kanye west, guns n' roses, puff daddy, rosemary clooney, and chamillionaire. nice.

i guess that's all. i dont know, these are just randomly occurring thoughts. john madden just said on sunday night football that someone was "the best stripper in the NFL." ok, john.

this semester's almost over. which is really scary.

so i haven't really updated all month. it's been a weird month. in a lot of ways. it went by really fast. i feel like october went by really fast too. i wish they hadn't.

what's been happening? i'm trying to remember, honestly. the last time i updated was right after halloween and the election...i try to keep things straight by the weekends, but i'm struggling. the weekend after halloween was...something i don't remember. i know i worked in fairfax one day...oh shit, i just remembered. that weekend was kevin's drunken rampage. that actually helps everything fall into place, hah. now i remember this month. let me start over.

ok. so on thursday the 6th, i went with zach, mike, jenn and kevin to gamestop to get gears of war 2 at midnight (lame, i know). afterwards we went to greene turtle for some wings and a drink (or drinks, if you're kevin). this night was notable because somehow, kevin got really drunk really fast and was ridiculous the whole night. like, in a bad way. he was pounding on people's doors, breaking into pedro's room (when it was locked), walking up and down the street yelling my name at 5 am, and various other things. he also put a bunch of pedro's tylenol in his mouth, started chewing them, and then changed his mind and spit them out. it was a rough night. that weekend mostly consisted of playing gears of war 2. i'm pretty sure i played...all day that friday. like probably 8 hours or so. saturday night was another crazy drunk night for kevin. i wasn't up for it, but he kicked a whole in the wall in their bathroom, chipped his tooth somehow, and was just totally miserable. after two nights like that in one weekend, he swore off drinking forever (although we recently found out that he was only "joking" about that). so yeah, that was that weekend: gears of war 2 and drunk kevin.

the next weekend was spent mostly at home. i went home on saturday (and then to chuck-e-cheese's in frederick) for mason's fourth birthday party. that sunday we worked in charlottesville. ugh. that always sucks. i got back to CP in time to watch the skins lose to the cowboys. the game was miserable, but it was fun because all five of us (in the house) were actually in the room together for a little while. that never happens anymore.

oh, back up. between trains opened the thursday before this (the 13th). i saw it with jeff that thursday. i had mixed feelings about it. surprise. i'm excited for the spring shows.

what happened last week....i don't even know. i really suck, i'm sorry. the weeks are always all the same. or it feels like it anyways. last weekend...margie came to visit to see zach's show. we saw it friday night (with mike and jess). on saturday, me, her, kevin, jeff and amy went to the football game. it was...miserable. very cold, but moreso than that, we got punished. saw my brother there though. that was good.

woah woah woah, back it up. beep beep. i just remembered something huge. let me just apologize right now, because this entry is probably impossible to read, since i keep jumping all over the place in time. but, as i mentioned in an entry at the beginning of the month, i was having computer problems, and i suspected that this might finally be it. it turns out that...that was indeed the case. my computer of three and a half years (and about three and half million frustrations) has finally been put down. last wednesday, i went with my dad to...the apple store. where we got a macbook. and i feel disgusted with myself. but...i don't have any complaints. not yet anyways. i'm sure they'll surface. eventually.

so yeah, i'm currently working on a record: longest time with no computer fuck-ups, or breakings, or terrible shit happening. we're on nine days now.

so yeah, that was big. anyways, we went to the football game saturday. sunday was bel air thanksgiving, at our house this year. it was good. very filling, tons of food. we are awesome. i had fun.

another big thing this month was a bunch of rehearsals for my two scenes (with roni and with brooke). this past monday, i had showings for both of them. this past monday was actually quite ridiculous. i had a scene showing in the morning, then lunch, then a showing in the afternoon. then when i got home, i had to do my history of fashion research project, which took my from about 4 pm until...maybe 10 or 11. and then i had to do an outline for subversive. busy day. thank god it's over though.

tuesday was much more relaxing, i just took care of a bunch of little stuff. we had a winter's tale meeting in the evening. it was fun to see everyone together for the first time. i'm excited for the show. then afterwards mike was throwing a surprise party at our house for will burch. it was fine. i turned on the lights when we yelled surprise. later in the night, i hung out with mike, will, kiersten, jamie and candace. that was fun.

wednesday i had class (unlike everyone else), and then packing and coming home. thursday was thanksgiving (duh), which means going to aunt ruth ann's on the eastern shore. other parts of the weekend have been filled with sopranos, fixing margie's computer, and getting a wireless router for our house (yesssssss, finally). so i'm updating at home from my laptop for the first time ever. exciting.

i have work tomorrow morning, and then a pretty wide open day. i should work on my take home test and also do winter's tale cuts. let's see if i actually do either. sunday is more work, then hopefully getting to see a good part of the redskins game, then back to CP. this week...me and brooke have another showing on wednesday (yikes), and me and roni have another one coming up soon. i think i'm in vickie's directing scene...which would have to start rehearsing soon. god, why do i agree to things. it'll be fun though. also this week...i'm not sure. i'm sure there's tons of stuff i'm forgetting...like always. i should start my subversive paper. i would if i'm smart. which means i won't.

next weekend, i'm working on saturday. sunday night is redskins/ravens, which means comMANs is coming over. good.

also important is the fact that starting in december, qdoba night changes to wednesday. so...i'll have to remember that.

so yeah. there's two weeks left in the semester. plus "exams." aka i only have one. and a huge paper. and then...just one semester left.

oh, and i spent a large amount of time this month watching puppies. although i haven't recently. that needed to be mentioned.

so that's my obscenely long and confusing november update. it's been a weird month. like i said. i have just been...all over the place. up and down. at least i have a computer that works now. even if it is a stupid mac.

busy, busy.

last wednesday was a really exhausting day. i had a scene showing in the morning, did really intense monologue work in shakespeare, had a callback, and then rehearsed with roni. when i got home i was so tired. i had this really weird feeling of not knowing who i was cuz i'd be like...five different characters that day. thursday i got to sleep in because one of my classes was cancelled and the other i skipped, so that was good. i watched 30 rock during the day and did not enough work. in the evening i worked in baltimore. hah, funny story, actually. zach had rehearsal at 6 at cspac. i had work at 6 in baltimore. he left the house before. annnnd that is zach.

so yeah, work thursday night. friday was halloween! i finished a paper and turned it in before getting a few more costume things (candy canes). i went to my cousins around 6 for gina and john's 16th bdays and came back to CP around 10. we got dressed and went to the inc house halloween party. we were AMAZING in our candyland costumes. i dont know if i can pick a favorite. all four were awesome. the party was fun. palato's after was also fun. we got back late and slept late. saturday was mostly recovering and random stuff before the inc show at 8. the show was good (as always) and after was the time of indecision. following that was the o'steenoween party, which was ok. the costumes were nowhere near the league of the previous night.

on sunday, i was lazy and felt kind of shitty. on monday we went to the skins/steelers game. it would have been a lot better if they'd won. it was fun until they started losing, mostly. i was really exhausted when i got back. on tuesday i skipped my first class due to tiredness and then went to subversive. me and lauren went grocery shopping later in the day which was good cuz i had no food. tuesday was also ELECTION DAY. went to vickies later in the night to watch the end of the coverage and the victory slash speeches. wednesday was more sleeping in and then class in the afternoon. we watched some wire last night, which was good. and now today i had class in the morning. i have some roni rehearsal at 5:30 and then the office is tonight. at midnight tonight i think pedro and me are going to best buy to get gears of war 2. hes very excited. tomorrow ive got some rehearsals early in the day and then i dont know. im working on sunday.

also, my computer is broken, possibly forever (finally). not sure just yet. we'll see what happens with that...

time moves so fast...

the weekend was pretty good. had lunch with jeff on friday, then halloween shopping, then callback, then chill. greg came over and we made a fire. i went home saturday morning to see paige's soccer game. it was raining, and they lost. im still glad i got to see one though. then i spent the afternoon at home. i went shopping for a little bit. i came back to CP late saturday afternoon and went to judith and sara's saturday night. it was good to finally see their apartment. we played marry/f/kill and did stuff. on sunday i watched the redskins game and had sunday dinner at vickie's.

busy week...

today - had class. now i need to study for both my midterms tomorrow. going to qdoba later probably for 3 dollar amazing night.
tomorrow - fashion midterm, then subversive midterm. working on monologue paper/scanning for leigh during the day, then last stacy rehearsal at night. also, i think we're going costume shopping again? maybe?
wednesday - final scene showing for mitch, then shakespeare in the afternoon. im meeting with roni wednesday evening about our shakespeare scene.

thursday, i probably will have no class. subversive is cancelled and ill probably skip fashion. good. there's still lots to do though. brooke and i will start rehearsing this week (probably wednesday or thurday?). i have two scenes to memorize, and lots of reading to do. friday is halloween, which means going to the sparacinos, then inc party. saturday is inc show then hallo'steen, and sunday is...i dont know. recovering. monday is the redskins game, and tuesday is election day. i also sign up for classes one of those days (monday or tuesday).

i need to go to the bank this week.

today our shakespeare class went and performed for the THET110 class. it was really strange, because i took that class (with the same teacher and in the same room as it was in today). i took it three years ago. it made me think a lot about how far i've come during college and how much i've changed. life is hard. hah.

i love coheed and cambria. i also love that zach loves coheed and cambria.

things have been ok lately. i feel like that's always my response when someone asks me how things are: ok. yep. last weekend was the columbus day dinner dance, which was the same as always. i wish i saw my family more. this past weekend was fun, too. margie came to visit because it was her fall break, and that was fun. we had the party friday night, which was also a lot of fun (for me at least). on saturday we hung out with jeff and amy and had chipotle (which was fantastic because i was so hungry). on sunday we saw to be young gift and black and watched the redskins game. that was also good, although the redskins tried to lose.

i feel like i have more work coming up. i have an audition wednesday (that im actually kind of excited for). i might be going home for a little bit, i might be going to the football game (anyone wanna go?), im definitely going to the glaubitz-ingber housewarming.

im also excited for halloween.

this past weekend...

illusion audition was friday. ricky o'steentrile party on friday night was a lot of fun. kevin was really drunk when we left. surprise. i spent all day saturday working on illusion callback stuff. the callback wasnt so great for me. zach is in it, it's gonna be a really cool show. had dinner with jeff saturday and then spent most of the night hanging out with judith. we went on a walk and then later went driving around on a bunch of back roads. she wanted to stick her head out of the sunroof. it was good.

sunday was redskins game (they are awesome) and then party for laila's first birthday. she can walk now, she looks so much bigger. after i came back from that, it was immediately to comMANs for the second annual matt debeal 21st birthday/sunday dinner. it was good. matt and cheese, mmmmm.

this week has been ok i guess. haven't had much work. stacy and i rehearsed last night for the first time in a week, our second showing is next wednesday. i need to start working on the walker scene. im reading some of those plays right now, actually. not much else has really happened this week...went grocery shopping with mike tuesday evening and then watched the debate. exciting.

tonight should be good. people are coming over to watch the office again. yes. also, dana is here visiting which is good. obviously zach is excited, but i think we miss having her around too (me and mike, at least). friday is birthday-ful. saturday...i cant think of anything going on saturday. maybe im forgetting. and of course sunday is the always epic columbus day dinner dance. that will be good. hopefully i get back early enough to enjoy some post-sunday dinner festivities. ill keep my fingers crossed.

so that's what's been going on. i'm actually kind of sad that im not working on a show this semester. i'm feeling the itch, big time. i need to work on something, even if it's not acting. bleh.

untitled is a week from tomorrow. that is definitely exciting. hopefully it won't be as "miserable" as the hasselhoffenstravaganza.

it's october. the speed of time can really suck sometimes.

ive had a lot of rehearsing the last couple weeks for mine and stacy's mitch scene. our first showing was yesterday and it went ok.

my illusion audition is tomorrow. i don't have my monologue memorized yet. this is stupid.

zach and i went to visit margie at mary baldwin this past weekend. it was fun. we ate pizza, played wii, painted, saw measure for measure, walked around downtown, and watched an australian pedophile. good weekend.

speaking of zach and i, zach and i are finally in a play together. after seven semesters of near misses, it's finally happening. we're both in winter's tale next spring (and as complimentary parts, even). def exciting.

speaking of exciting, the redskins beat the cowboys last sunday in a very exciting game. ahhh it was so good. too bad they'll probably lose this week.

speaking of sunday, there was a commons bbq sunday night. i wish we all saw each other more.

me, mike and kevin have been watching the wire a lot. we're already halfway through the series. i dont think it's going to take us as long as sopranos did...

pedro bought rock band 2 last week. it's good, especially because we need something to bring the house together (especially him and mike) because of our ongoing air conditioning war. as the house gets hotter, so do the tempers.

my car is sucking big time. hopefully it will be fixed soon...

i think that's the majority of the news for now...ive been downloading a lot of music lately and it makes me happy.

my cousins' kid's first birthday is this sunday. that's exciting. ill get to see my family for the first time since about...august 24. haven't been home yet. i miss them.

it's been awhile since my last entry, for me anyways...a lot has happened.

classes are really underway now. my acting classes are both really good, i feel like im really learning things. my first scene showing for mitch's class is a week from monday. there were also auditions this past week for winter's tale (and anton, but it's all girls so i...didnt qualify). winter's tale callbacks were yesterday, and they went well i think. i was pretty locked in on friday afternoon when i was getting ready...i definitely haven't been that focused for a callback before. something was just kind of on fire inside of me, a kind of determination. it was a good feeling. we'll see how that turns out.

stev's bday party was last friday. it was a lot of fun, not nearly as miserable as kevin claims. the pictures tell the story better than i ever could...

metallica's new album also came out last friday. it's their first in more than five years. it is one hell of an album. in a lot of ways, it's their best in literally 20 years. they finally shook off their 90s mainstream rock thing and went back to what they used to be. not sure why im writing this, since no one who reads this really cares about metallica, but i'm happy with it. one of the new songs has been hitting me pretty hard lately...

what else has been going on...we got a new thermostat. it's digital and looks really cool. but...it doesn't really work correctly. it's been acting really strange since the party last week. when the AC is on, it says that the temperature is going up actually, and then when we turn it off, the temp goes down. we named it honeywell (because it says that on it) and gave it a personality. it's this really intimidating black who claims to not give a fuck what temperature we want it to be in the house because he runs shit. he also spouts random rap lyrics sometimes. he's entertaining enough though...i think more inanimate objects in our house need personalities...

zach and i had an audition at glen echo's new theatre last sunday. it was ok. probably a waste of our time, since we look kind of old for what they wanted. it was fun though. we also had sunday dinner at rhea's last sunday, and watched the first lord of the rings movie here afterwards. kevin has never seen them. he thought the first one was really boring.

i was sick at the beginning of this week, which is funny since i never get sick. it passed mostly before my thursday audition though, so it was fine.

we've been watching the wire, too. i fucking love that show.

matt reckeweg's birthday party was last night. that was fun too. chicken nuggets taste so good after a party...

today ive done nothing. i slept til 2 and literally have sat at my computer all day. im actually about to go watch tv to make myself feel like im doing something. read that sentence again.

ive done laundry, read the illusion (which is having auditions in less than two weeks...fuck you, theatre department), did a little hw reading and...listened to music. that's been my day for the last 8 hours. the illusion was really good, though. i actually kind of loved it. im excited for the auditions....

the weekend draws to a close. it's been good...

thursday night, we randomly decided to go to the bar at around midnight because...mike wanted to, pretty much. i think he was pissed because we were all giving him shit for being the only one who had class the next day, so he wanted to prove that...i dont know. that he could do whatever he wanted, class or no class. fair enough. it was mostly gross, hot and poor-smelling.

friday was...stuff. i did some hw early in the afternoon, which was good. it made me feel productive, despite the rest of the day. me, mike and kevin started the wire and watched...six episodes between the hours of three and ten o clock. there was also lots of house drama...and we ordered pizza. i...did not leave the house friday. nice.

saturday...another tv marathon. very productive weekend, i know. from 2 to 8, we pretty much just watched the first season of "who wants to be a superhero," an amazing reality show where stan lee decides who has and doesnt have heroic qualities. the second to last episode was...amazing. in all honesty, very emotional. after that was done, me, zach and mike went to liz brown's for her summer b-days party. it was ok. mike told mark that he wasnt in his body, that was funny. after the party, lauren came over for a little and we watched 24...only 16 episodes left...oh, i did laundry saturday too. nice.

today i woke up early. it was nice for once, since the day seemed...much longer. i didnt do much in the afternoon (surprise), just some hw. mike, zach, jeff and i saw dark knight late in the afternoon (yesssss) and then had dinner at three brothers. tonight i read the first couple acts of winter's tale, picked out a few monologues for shakespeare class, and...didnt do much else.

wow, what an unproductive weekend. although, not really.

there is a loud-as-shit cricket right outside my window. i first noticed it last night when i was trying to fall asleep. it sounds like it's inside the room, the chirping is so loud, and it just started again. shit...

yesterday's classes were (not surprisingly) far better than the ones i had tuesday. i had mitch's acting class in the morning. i love mitch. im really excited to have a class with him finally. im excited about mine and stacy's scene too. i think it's gonna be really hard, but really helpful too. after lunch i had shakespeare with leigh. god, i love leigh too. i hadnt done any intense linklater in...more than six months, so it kicked my ass a little bit. im actually not that sore today, which was surprising to me. the major's meeting was yesterday too. it was the same as always, but funny because of greg.

last night was project runway. oh yeah. i also started typing out my scene. maggie talks so much, it's crazy. no wonder brick hates her.

today, subversive was canceled so i only had one class. it was not, however, victimology. im dropping victimology and taking history of fashion, which features alice, aaron, lex, and most importantly, zachary. it's probably going to be pretty boring (i know i would like victimology more, and it'd probably be easier too) BUT i really dont like any of the design classes that are going to be offered in the spring, so i want it out of the way. im sure i can find a crim class next semester that's interesting. so this means im taking four theatre classes this semester and they're all 400 level. i feel like a senior...

also, the fact that my 9:30 class on tu/th is in CSPAC instead of shoemaker means ill be able to keep doing the independent study with leslie on tuesday mornings. it just wouldn't be right if i didnt see her all semester...

so today i went to history of fashion in the morning and that was it. i got out at 10:45. i ran a couple of errands and was home by noon. i chilled pretty much all day (my weekend has started, since i dont have class friday). i did some reading and monologue research, so i dont feel like i pissed away the whole day. then i watched the skins game tonight. they lost and looked absolutely terrible. not very encouraging.

ive got some work to do this weekend, but lots of time. not really any plans except liz is having a party saturday night and we might see dark knight...sometime. having fridays off is nice. everyone in the house does...except mike. sucks for him. he has a 9 AM.

ive been listening to mad lupe fiasco this week.

today was the first day of classes of my senior year of college.

it was...ok. fine, i guess.

i got up around quarter of 9, dressed and headed off to my first class, a 9:30 in shoemaker. i had two classes today:

CCJS360 (victimology) - the teacher was pretty young and seemed cool enough. she said it's all powerpoint based lecture and that they're posted online, so there is definitely skip potential (gotta take advantage since...this is probably my last non-theatre class. yikes). we didn't do shit today. we didn't even go over the syllabus. we were there about 20 minutes maybe. i had an hour before my next class, so i stopped by stamp for a little (checked out the poster sale. gonna have to go back fo sho). then i was on my way to...

THET489C (subversive culture) - theatre history class that isn't really a theatre class. it seems like it'll be cool. there's a lot of people in it. zach should...get into it. the teacher seemed pretty good, too. it's gonna be a lot of work i think (LOTS of reading, huge paper at the end, other stuff), but it's interesting stuff, at least.

aaand...that was it for today. i was signed up for one more class, but im dropping it. it was lighting technology. they changed the prereqs after i signed up (and made lighting design one of them, which i haven't taken). i e-mailed the teacher asking if i should bother coming or just drop it, and he pretty much said that i should drop it cuz i probably would fail. that's stupid. if it's about lighting desing, it should be a lighting design class. there isn't really another design that fits my schedule, so i guess ill just have to do it next semester. it's ok though, cuz that only makes two classes for the spring that i have to take. hopefully if i get into any acting classes, they won't conflict with the designs.

but anyways, this means that my tuesday and thursday afternoons are wide open now, which is nice. i came back today and procrastinated for a while before finally re-reading cat on a hot tin roof again while taking a lot of notes. i started my bio around 5:30 and wrote about...5 pages in a little more than an hour. that jont was just rollin on out of me. i feel pretty good about the scene. i made dinner after that, ate, and showered. stacy came over a little after 8 and we talked about scene stuff (slash watched mike play mario kart/watched big brother) for about...two, two and a half hours. we got a lot done. i think she'll be a good partner. she left a little while ago and now im just making little bio edits and listening to lupe fiascos.

tomorrow is acting day. mitch in the morning, leigh and shakespeare in the afternoon. there's also the major's meeting at 4. shakespeare ends at 3, so ill probably go to the book store in the hour in between. i re-bought some books on amazon today cuz they were cheaper so i have to return a bunch of shit. tomorrow evening i wont have too much hw. there's no subversive culture on thursday, so that's nice. and then, after a one-class thursday, it's the weekend (for me, pedro and zach, at least). vicious.

im excited about classes this semester. i think it'll easily be the best semester class-wise ive ever had. hopefully, im right.

it's been a busy, but good, few days.

thursday...i cleaned the bathroom. finally. just in time, too. it looks pretty nice. very proud. i also went to jiffy lube and got my oil changed. one of the guys there looked like avon barksdale. the wire is awesome. we also made ravioli thursday night, watched big brother, and watched hippopotamuses do stuff on animal planet. later in the night, me, zach, mike and kevin went out to the bar (without idiot pedro) and later to plato's. it was fun. explode it.

on friday we went shopping for the bbq in the afternoon. we saw tropic thunder friday night with jess, and then lauren and jeff came over after that. we...didnt really do anything. i taught them how to play egyptian rat screw.

saturday was the bbq. it was a lot of fun. i thought last years was more fun, but they were both great. pedro sucked for not coming. that trampoline is so about to die.

on sunday, me, zach and mike went to get books in the afternoon. jess's bbq was in the evening. it was also good. rugby girls are terrifying. there was a water balloon fight.

pedro got an iphone.

aaaand theres about 6 hours of summer left now. how fucking depressing is that. it's been a really crazy whirlwind of a summer. definitely not possible to describe here. so much happened.

so i've been back in college park for several days now. the past few days...

sunday. on sunday, i got up around 11 and continued my packing frenzy. i finished cleaning up/dusting my room and was more or less completely packed by 1:30, 2 o clock. ryan came over around 2 and we watched the godfather, which he had not seen before. he enjoyed it very much and said as he was leaving that he would be going directly to best buy to pick up the trilogy. i like spreading godfather love. it's...so good. so, so good. after ryan left, i went over to angie's real quick to say by to them and the girls. then i had dinner at home and left soon after that for CP. i got here maybe around 8. i got to see two people sunday night that i hadnt seen in a long time. one in a long time, another in a VERY long time, actually: lauren and mike. we watched the end of the olympics while playing spit and doing other stuff. good. i unpacked some of my stuff, but not all of it.

monday was...very successful. slept in, and then mike and i (and kevin, a little bit) cleaned the kitchen and living room thoroughly. we cleaned the fridge out, organized the pantry and did lots of good things. kevin even went out to "some guy in hyattsville" and bought a vacuum. nice. also, i unpacked more things, posted five albums on facebook throughout the day (has to be a record) and helped mike reorganize his entire room. zach arrived to move in in the evening, and i helped him bring stuff in too. once he got here, all five of us were back, and it definitely feels good to be living here with everyone again. it's not just that mike's been gone; the house isn't the same when we're not all together. it's a very different dynamic, and im glad that it's back after a three month hiatus.

good example of why im gonna miss this so much a year from now: monday evening we were watching tv and a commercial for burger king came on. it was advertising some new burger that they have. as soon as the commercial ended, mike and kevin both commented on the fact that it looked delicious. mike stood up, claimed he was going to burger king, and asked kevin if he wanted to come. he said he did, stood up, and the two of them literally walked right out the door, grabbing his keys off the bookshelf on his way out. this all happened in literally less than ten seconds following the end of the commercial. it was amazing.

so anyways, monday was very successful. AND we started season six of 24. big day, monday was.

tuesday...tuesday was also full of success. had to go to bethesda/chevy chase/friendship heights for a second interview at rock creek restaurant in the afternoon. it went...ok. she said she'd give me a call in a couple weeks. i really dont know which way it'll go, but i guess we'll see. after that, i went to my dentist appointment in rockville which was so fast and efficient. god, that was refreshing. my dentist always takes forever and it always sucks. i was in the chair for literally less than fifteen minutes. no novacaine, no bullshit. good. got home around 6 and ended up going to dinner at noodles with zach and LBC. then zach, mike and i went to shoppers for the inaugural grocery trip of the year. this was also a success, since i somehow spent way less money than i normally do on groceries. after shoppers, we were joined at the house by jeff (fresh off his own return to CP), lauren and vickie for a game of risk (jeff won) followed by some rock band and enjoying of zach's new amazing comforter. that was good.

following two days of such rousing success, it should come as no surprise that today (wednesday) was anything but. i got up really late...like...four o clock. i dont know how i did that. im actually kind of disgusted with myself. then i spent several more hours doing nothing (although i did watch an episode of big brother with zach). tonight we watched project runway, a smidgen of timecop (hah) and a couple episodes of 24. the fourth episode of the season was...ridiculous. it's a pretty shocking show, but i can't think of many times when i've been more shocked at the end of an episode than tonight. wow, 24.

tomorrow...im going to be productive again. unlike today. tomorrow i will DEFINITELY:

- clean at least part of the bathroom, if not the whole thing
- work on acting scene. possibly read cat as a whole again, get some bio ideas down.

those are the big ones, i guess. might re-hang my posters too.

i think tomorrow night we as a house might go out to either the bars or franklin's to celebrate mike's birthday (or really just celebrate being back). then friday will be primarily spent getting ready for the bbq...shopping and stuff. we might see the dark knight friday afternoon...or maybe on labor day? shit, we could see if sunday afternoon actually, cuz jess's party is later in the day. we'll see, i guess.

so that's a pretty detailed description of what's been going on for me this week. it's been a good four days. i LOVE this time of year. i always have, even when we were back in the dorms. maybe it's just because being in college park is always directly related to school for me, but i just love being here with people before classes start. it's just a unique time, and it's always a lot of fun. im glad that i get to enjoy more than a week of it for my last year.

that's all. school is starting in less than a week and it's about time to start getting back into the school mindset...auditions are a scant three weeks away...
